Important Data for the New Honours Year!

Dear Honours students,

To all of our new students, we heartily welcome you to your first year of the Humanities Honours Programme! And for all of our other students, welcome back! We hope you were all able to enjoy a wonderful summer and are ready to begin with what is doubtlessly going to be another amazing honours-year.

To start off, we have a list of all the important events that will be hosted this year. More details for each event will likely be posted here as they get closer, but please take a look and take note of which events may be relevant for you!

HONOURS YEAR 2025-2026

September/October – Domain coordinators will have the first portfolio-meetings with new HHP students.

Tuesday September 9th – Honours Thesis information meeting (block 1/2) by Frans Willem Lantink.

Tuesday October 21st – Plenary meeting on the Terrain Exploration course + presentations and drinks after, 17:00-19:00.

Wednesday November 19th – Honours Thesis peer feedback meeting (block 1/2), 17:15-19:00.

Thursday December 11th – Education Talks I, 17:15-19:30.

Monday January 12th – Conclusion meeting Honours Thesis by Frans Willem Lantink, 17:15-18:30 NL, 18:30-19:30 ENG.

Tuesday January 20th – Plenary meeting II with presentations of the tutorials from the Terrain Exploration courses, 17:00-20.00.

Tuesday February 3rd – Honours Thesis information meeting (block 3/4) by Frans Willem Lantink.

Tuesday February 17th – Honours Thesis peer feedback meeting (block 2/3), 17:15-19:00.

Tuesday April 28th – Honours Thesis peer feedback meeting (block 3/4), 17:15-19:00.

Start of May – Educational talks II.

Tuesday June 9th- Conclusion meeting Honours Thesis by Frans Willem Lantink, 17:15-18:30.

June – Domain coordinators will have HHP portfolio meetings with their own students.

Tuesday June 16th – Closing ceremony and Thesis poster presentations, ca. 17:00-19:30.

Friday June 19th – Closing symposium Research Seminar.
