Book Talk with Natalia Petrovskaia (Celtic) and Richard Calis (History)

Dear Honours students,

In the coming year we want HHP students and faculty to connect around finished and ongoing research projects. The first such event spotlights books that have recently been published by domain coordinators Natalia Petrovskaia (see: https://brill.com/display/title/64397) and Richard Calis (see: https://www.hup.harvard.edu/books/9780674292734). If you’re interested in participating, continue reading!

We are looking for four students who would like to interview Natalia and Richard about their books and others who would like to attend this book talk. The students will read either Natalia’s or Richard’s book and ask questions about the arguments of the book, how the book was conceived, and any other aspect of the book that they found interesting. The interview will be followed by a Q&A and an informal reception where students can ask further questions. The event takes place 5pm-7pm on Wednesday October 8, 2025.
