We will dive into theories of change in social progress, the long term future of humanity, the importance of storytelling in societal change and many more topics.

Practical Details

The event will comprise an introductory talk to Effective Altruism by an experienced speaker, followed by an interview of the world famous historian and best-selling author Rutger Bregman!

The event will take place in the Utrecht Science Park, Educatorium on the 28th of April at 19:15 (ending around 20:45). During this event, we will discuss how you can have an huge positive impact on the world if you think critically about the causes you prioritize and the methods you use. Right after the event, you can join a reception with drinks in the same building where you can network and ask questions to experienced members of the community. The hall will close at 23:00.
