Honours Community Day – Student exhibition

Dear student,

The Honours Community Day on May 16th is approaching, and an integral part of this event will be the student exhibition. This exhibition is the perfect moment for you to share an honours achievement that you are proud of! Do you have something that you would like to showcase to the UU honours community? This is your chance!

At the exhibition, you could present an honours project you have completed, an honours  event/activity you organized or participated in, or you could even talk and share your experience with your honours programme more generally. We welcome diverse and creative contributions. There is always space for poster presentations, however we highly encourage creative ways of exhibiting your learning journeys and projects. This could include: a podcast, a performance, an interactive presentation, storytelling, an object, an art installation, a game, poetry, or a mini-documentary. Everything is welcome!

This is your moment to share what you value about your honours programme and what you have learned during it. Anything that best showcases your project, product, event, or programme is welcome. We are excited to help you to showcase what you are proud of!

Practical information

The Honours Community Day takes place from 13:00 to 19:00 on Thursday the 16th of May. You can find the event in the heart of Utrecht at De Witte Vosch (Oudegracht 46, 3511 AR Utrecht). The exhibition will be visible throughout the day, but we only ask you to be present to introduce your piece and answer any questions about it during the break from 15:30 to 16:00 and/or the closing of the event from 17:30 to 19:00. There will be free drinks and snacks during these times!

To submit your idea, please email us with what you would like to showcase during this exhibition at honourscollege@uu.nl, and include in your email:

1.       Your faculty and honours programme

2.       With how many students you would like to ‘present’ your piece

3.       A short description of your piece, including the topic and format

4.       What materials you would like to bring, and which you might need from us

We can accept your submissions until April 25th, so please make sure to send your ideas to us before then.

Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions. We are looking forward to hearing your ideas!

Kind regards,

The Honours College team
