One-time Bookclub – The Vegetarian by Han Kang

20 December we are organizing an one time book-club in which we
would like to discuss Nobel winner Han Kang’s novel the Vegetarian.
This book club will be part of our portfolio activity, meaning only
Honours students of all disciplines are allowed to sign up.
The main goal for the book club will be having an interdisciplinary
conversation surrounding the topics of Feminism, bodily autonomy,
and humanity within society. We hope a discussion around these
themes will be a safe atmosphere to learn more about recent,
but also continuous, events in the world.

To facilitate the book club we will provide all single time members
with their own free copy of the novel if they do not already have one
in their bookshelf. We will hand these out at the Honours lecture on
3 December. If you are unable to pick up your copy please message
us in advance.

The discussion will be held in a small group, which means the spaces
available will be limited. Sign up before all spots are taken!
