Honours Teacher of the Year – Nominate your teacher before April 3rd!

Dear honours student,

Do you have an honours teacher who has made a lasting impact on your education? Someone who has:

✨ Inspired your passion for learning,
💡 Challenged you to think in new ways, or
🤝 Supported your unique learning journey?

If so, now is your chance to recognise them! Nominations for the Honours Teacher of the Year 2024-2025 are open. The winner will be announced at Honours Community Day on May 22, 2025.

How does it work?A committee—including the UU Honours Dean, two honours directors, and two UU Honours Student Council members—will select a winner from a shortlist. The winning teacher will receive €500 to invest in honours education at Utrecht University.

How to nominate your teacher:
Gather two other students and submit your nomination via this form before April 3, 2025.

What happens next?
If your nominee makes the final shortlist, you (or one of your co-nominators) will get the chance to meet with and tell the committee why your teacher deserves to win!
