Become a member of the new Eureka board!
Dear HHP members,
SV Eureka is looking for new board members! If you are looking for more ways to make your life “honours worthy” and learn a plethora of skills to prepare you for the job market, then this is it! Being board of a study association is a great opportunity for those of you seeking to join a team of highly motivated individuals, improve student wellbeing, and make friends along the way. It allows you to challenge yourself from all perspectives and develop such skills as teamwork, creativity, responsibility and so much more.
Currently we, board VIII, are looking for applications to pass on the torch. There are five positions in total, all special in their own way. Do you usually take on the role of the leader in group projects? Then being chair could be a great fit. Do you love to colour code and keep things organised and efficient? The job of the secretary would love to have you. Are you great with finances like all the dragons in the medieval tales? Then being treasurer would be right up your alley. Is making showstopping and exciting posters your secret power? The commissioner of internal affairs can explore their creativity to the fullest. Are you the social butterfly of the group and would love to meet more people? As commissioner of external affairs you can network to your heart’s content. As you can see, all the positions are versatile, so you can definitely find your special place in board IX!
To apply, send us an email at bestuur@sveureka.nl before the 1st of November, stating your motivation for taking on this challenge as well as your top three choices for the positions. No prior experience is required! The application is open format, so make it as wild as you wish!
We hope to see you at our upcoming info session on the 17th of October at 17:15 (Drift 21, 108), but you can also always email or text us with any questions or concerns you may have! Being board is an incredibly rewarding experience and a chance to push yourself to new heights, both academically and personally. It will give you a jump start for your future and open doors you could have never expected to encounter, while being an active member of the honours community!
Best regards,
Board VIII of SV Eureka
